I love this place. In fact, sometimes I go to varese only to have a sandwich at Golden Egg. My favorite and the only one I always order is Golden Egg with boiled eggs, asparagus and cuore di palma. There are a couple of benches to sit and few tables to just stand and eat. Overall my favorite sandwich place in Varese and perhaps all of Lombardia.

Since 1970, this is a REAL cult family run historic small place of the city where to find the most delicious sandwiches in the world! Probably the oldest place in town! Same good old formula since years. More than 20 kind of sanwiches! Open until 3PM.
